Abstract

Objective: to analyze the evolution of pharmaceutical consultations in Primary Health Care in Minas Gerais from 2015 to 2025, considering temporal behavior, regional distribution, and characteristics of care. Method: ecological time series study using secondary data from the Outpatient Information System of the Unified Health System, including number of consultations, type of care, complexity, and regional distribution, analyzed through descriptive statistics and temporal variations. Results: fluctuations were observed, with a decrease between 2017 and 2021 and growth from 2023 onward, reaching the highest volume in 2025. There was a predominance of records classified as missing information and significant regional inequalities, with higher concentration in urban areas. Conclusion: there was a recent expansion of pharmaceutical care, although challenges remain regarding equity of access and data quality, indicating the need to improve management and information processes.
